Vetus M-Line Diesel Engines
The Vetus M-Line is a range of compact, reliable marine diesel engines designed for sailing yachts, motorboats and narrowboats. We hold stock of the following M-Line models:
- M2 Series (12–18 hp) — compact 2-cylinder engines ideal for smaller sailing yachts and motorboats where space and weight are critical. The M2 range is well suited to vessels up to approximately 8 metres.
- M3 Series (27 hp) — the 3-cylinder M3.29 is a popular mid-range engine for medium-sized sailing yachts, offering a good balance of power, fuel economy and compact dimensions.
- M4 Series (33–52 hp) — the 4-cylinder M4 range suits larger sailing yachts and motor cruisers. With models from 33 hp (M4.35) up to 52 hp (M4.56), this series delivers the power output required for longer passages and heavier displacement vessels.
All Vetus M-Line engines are HVO approved, meaning they can be operated on hydrotreated vegetable oil as a more sustainable fuel alternative. We carry a comprehensive range of Vetus engine service parts in stock, including filters, impellers, belts and anodes.
Vetus Bow & Stern Thrusters
Vetus offers one of the most comprehensive thruster ranges available, from compact units for smaller yachts to high-output systems for large motor cruisers. We supply and install:
- Standard DC Thrusters: available in 12V and 24V, with thrust ratings from 25 kgf to 105 kgf and tunnel diameters from 110 mm to 185 mm. Suitable for the majority of sailing and motor yachts.
- BOW PRO Brushless Thrusters: Vetus’ advanced range featuring brushless motors for greater efficiency and lower maintenance. Available in 48V as well as 12V/24V, with output up to 320 kgf for larger vessels.
Our engineers carry out professional thruster installations to Vetus specification, including tunnel cutting, waterproofing, motor mounting and full electrical installation.
Vetus Marine Hardware
Beyond engines and thrusters, we supply the full range of Vetus marine hardware, including:
- Exhaust Systems: Vetus wet exhaust components including waterlock silencers (NLP, NLPHD series), exhaust hoses, transom connectors and skin fittings. Vetus exhaust systems are well regarded for their noise reduction and ease of installation.
- Tanks: polyethylene fuel tanks, water tanks and holding tanks, available in a range of sizes and shapes to fit awkward spaces.
- Deck Hardware & Fittings: a comprehensive range of stainless steel and polyamide deck fittings, skin fittings, valves and ventilators.
- Steering Systems: hydraulic and mechanical steering components.
- Freshwater Systems: pumps, pressure systems and water treatment.

Can you install a Vetus bow thruster on my existing boat?
Yes. Our engineers carry out Vetus thruster installations including tunnel cutting, motor and control installation, and full electrical wiring. We will survey your boat and recommend the correct thruster specification for your hull and usage.
Can you service a Vetus engine installed by someone else?
Absolutely. We service all Vetus M-Line engines regardless of their service history. As an authorised main dealer we have access to genuine Vetus parts, service bulletins and technical support.
Do you supply Vetus exhaust and tank components?
Yes. We hold a range of Vetus exhaust and tank components in our chandlery and can order the full Vetus catalogue. If you need a specific
waterlock, hose size or tank dimension, contact us and we will help you identify the right part.
