Lewmar’s Gold Installer programme certifies engineers to install, service and repair Lewmar products to manufacturer specification. Gold Installer status means our team has undergone Lewmar’s technical training programme and is recognised by Lewmar as a qualified installation specialist.

Lewmar products we supply and install
We work with the complete Lewmar range, including:
- Winches — Ocean, Pro, EVO and Genesis series self-tailing winches, in manual and electric variants, from size 6 to size 70+ for vessels of all sizes.
- Windlasses — Pro Series, V Series and Ocean Series horizontal and vertical windlasses for anchor chain and rope deployment.
- Hatches and Portlights — Ocean Series and Standard hatches, all sizes, for deck ventilation and cabin lighting.
- Rope Clutches and Blocks — control systems for halyards, sheets and reefing lines.
- Thrusters — bow and stern thruster systems for improved manoeuvrability in harbour.

Chandlery stock
We hold a range of Lewmar hardware in our 2,000 sq ft Plymouth chandlery. If the specific size or variant you need is not in stock, we can order directly from Lewmar with delivery typically possible with a few working days.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a Gold Installer to fit Lewmar equipment?
For warranty purposes, Lewmar recommends that products are installed by a certified installer. Gold Installer status means work is carried out to Lewmar’s published technical standards, protecting your warranty.
Can you service my existing Lewmar winches?
Yes. We can carry out full Lewmar winch servicing including disassembly, cleaning, re-greasing and replacement of worn pawls, springs and bearings. Winches should ideally be serviced every 1–2 years depending on use.
I need a Lewmar hatch replaced — can you supply and fit?
Yes. We supply and install replacement Lewmar hatches and portlights. Bring the hatch dimensions and picture or the old hatch to our chandlery and we can identify the correct replacement.
